Nukkad Natak on Nasha Mukti (De-addiction) in Patratu Block
As per the direction of the District Public Relations Department, Ramgarh, the team at Jharkhand Mahila Jagriti, Amritnagar, travelled to Patratu block in Ramgarh district from 18 to 20 June to perform nukkad natak (street plays) spreading awareness on Nasha Mukti (de-addiction).
The programme was carried out across six villages — Budhbazar and Sakul, Saundadi and Balkudra, and Syal-Uttari and Syal-Dakshini — reaching villagers with a message about the dangers of addiction and the importance of a healthy, addiction-free life.
Through street theatre, the team was able to engage communities directly, sparking conversation and reflection in a way that is accessible to everyone, regardless of literacy. Jharkhand Mahila Jagriti thanks the District Public Relations Department, Ramgarh, for the opportunity to carry this important message forward.
